Matthew Fuhrmann

Research

Biography

Matthew Fuhrmann is a research fellow at the International Security Program and Project on Managing the Atom at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs,
Harvard Kennedy School.  He will join the faculty at the University of South Carolina’s department of political science as an assistant professor in January 2009.

His general research interests are in the areas of international security and intrastate conflict.  Much of his current research explores the causes and consequences of chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) weapons proliferation.
